Graves' Disease – Proptosis	

Protrusion of the globe from the lateral orbital margin (Fig. 17.24) can be measured using a Hertel exophthalmometer. If proptosis is present, the sclera is visible between the cornea and the lower lid, and the cornea protrudes by more than 18mm.
